This single-hopped Mosaic pale ale is designed specifically for cask. We used a classic malt bill of mostly Best Ale Malt with a good portion of Extra Pale malt. We then whirlpooled 5kg Mosaic for a subtle bitterness and a fruity aroma. Finally, we dry-hopped with 10kg Mosaic BBC. All be it quite restrained hopping for us, this beer punches well above its weight.

Our version of the Franconian Kellerbier, an unfiltered and unpasteurised beer which keeps all of the best flavour while delivering the ultimate lager refreshment. A gentle amble out of Sandford towards Shaky Bridge threads along Fanny's Lane. In the autumn the blackberries from it's hedges join local apples in many pies and crumbles. They pluck a few away to add to their own special recipe. We think this is a uniquely fruity and refreshing cider.
