The modern-day brewing trend is very much for massively hopped beers featuring numerous varieties from across the globe. So we've had a go at brewing a beer with just a single hop variety. That's right, just one. Uno. Eins. Un. It is a good one - Cascade - and we've tried to be a bit imaginative with different formats of it added at different stages of the brewing process.

Featuring Chevallier, a Victorian heritage malt, brewed slowly and gently with the addition of two classic English hop varieties, Goldings and Bullion, to produce a beer that’s a respectful nod to brewing tradition. Chevallier was the dominant barley used in brewing from the 1820’s to 1920’s and has a rich, robust, malty character with hints of marmalade and caramel. Crystal malt has also been used, complementing Chevallier beautifully by adding roasted toffee notes and giving, suitably enough, an attractive amber bronze colour to the finished beer. Hop wise, UK Goldings add lemon, peppery, floral aromas whilst Bullion builds on this with spicy, blackcurrant and hedgerow fruits notes.
Version 87 of our US Session is dry hopped with HBC 431 and HBC 630. Flavours and aromas are citrus and berry fruits.
The rich and roasted malt notes defy the pale colour in this special bitter. Brewed as a one-off for St. George's day it went down so well it' made a number of re-appearances since for significant national events, and has a great following in bottle. A traditional bitter-style ale, the pale colour defies a rich maltiness normally associated with a darker ale.
Mid-brown, well balanced. A true best bitter with a clean, malty, hoppy flavour and a delightful hoppy aroma.
This is a classic Thornbridge cask beer from the archives. It pours a rich, deep black and white in colour so we thought the name Pica Pica (scientific name for a Magpie) suited perfectly. Expect a balanced sweetness throughout with notes of roasted nuts and coffee.
Our standard session bitter, brewed using only traditional and classically English malt and hop combinations.
A well balanced light, golden, hoppy bitter. Grapefruit nose and citrus flavours give way to a mellow, slightly sweet after-taste. Complex malt character ensures it drinks well beyond its abv. Easy to drink and annoyingly moreish.
A crisp, light and refreshing session IPA, brewed from pale, wheat and oat malts. Thirst-quenching and moderately bitter, hop aromas of citrus and tropical fruits come from generous quantities of Mosaic, Ella and Vic Secret added to the kettle and as a dry hop.
A strong version of our best selling Golden Bud. An IPA-style ale, the fruity hoppiness is balanced beautifully by the residual sweetness of such a strong ale.
We wanted to create a light, crisp, punchy, go to beer! A beer that you know you can pick up and appreciate or simply get it down ya neck. Extra pale base malts are used to keep it crisp and give the hops a great platform to dance on. Masses of hop additions during the whirlpool and a huge dose of dry hops make this a brilliantly 'easy' IPA.

One of our range of single hopped beers, brewed only using Wolf hops from Slovenia. This blonde ale has a fresh "noble" hop aroma and a medium bitterness that contains hints of light honeyed fruits. The finish is bitter and fruity and very sessionable.
A deep, rich and intensely satisfying traditional stout ale, boasting a characteristic off-white creamy head. Roasted malt notes are perfectly balanced by Fuggles and Golding hops.
Brewed to export strength this strong well hopped India Pale Ale has become a firm favourite with followers of the style.
A super easy drinking light pale ale, with a light hop addition.
Young, fresh, pale and zesty with a lemon nose.
Created from the heart and brewed with a double dose of devotion, this full-bodied fruity beer has all the hoppy goodness of an IPA , but with a seriously sessionable strength. Expect a fruit salad flavour with bold notes of passionfruit, grapefruit, gooseberry, pineapple and mango.
A low ABV pale ale packed full of Cascade and Centennial delivering floral aromas followed by citrus, grapefruit, and stone fruit flavours. An ideal beer to suit those spring beer garden evenings. Collaboration with our good friends at Small Beer.
A strong version of our best selling Golden Bud. An IPA-style ale, the fruity hoppiness is balanced beautifully by the residual sweetness of such a strong ale.
A rich malty amber beer with aromas of tangerine, citrus and a hint of orange peel.
Session pale ale dry hopped with US favourites Amarillo and El Dorado. Light and refreshing with notes of orange citrus, clementine and pineapple.
A full and well balanced IPA with aromas of stone fruit and citrus with a nice well rounded mouth feel that is full. It finishes with a well balanced and mouth watering hop bitterness.
Our new winter warmer, a smooth and warming beer perfect for the dark winter nights. A big malt base and large charge of English grown Northdown, Goldings and Challenger hops combine perfectly to give a rich, slightly spicy and decadent flavor with aromas of festive fruits. Finishing with a full body rounded bitterness.
A golden coloured hop bomb which has been brewed with Comet, Chinook and Cascade hops and lots of them.
An eminently drinkable pale session ale. Subtle malt and floral notes are matched splendidly with citrus hop, rounded off with a slightly dry finish.
A pale ale, dry and balanced with a blend of British and US hops for a perfect session beer. Fruity nose followed by a flinty, bitter finish that brings you back to the glass for more.
We love a good mild but we live in a subjective world, so to ensure you find a mild to love, we have created you three to try this May. Get your lips around our Classic Mild! Vegan friendly.
This grown up fruit salad is as colourful as the most hideous Hawaiian shirt you've ever seen. It's super juicy and crammed full of fruity hop flavours that will have your mouth watering. Packed full of American hops, amplified by peach, passionfruit, pineapple and mango flavours. Previously called Clwb Tropicana.
A New England Session Ale, perfect for summer! We generously dry hop with Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra, and Amarillo hops, creating a hugely aromatic and juicy fruit bomb. It drinks beautifully, with just a light bitterness to keep it balanced.
