In the true spirit of keeping things local, Hobsons have created a Plum Porter with a twist by using Shropshire Prune Damsons. The Shropshire Prune has been described as the essence of 'plum' and is possibly the oldest known variety of damson in the UK. This porter delivers on provenance and intense flavour, a delicate balance of rich damson and roast malt sweetness.
Our flagship golden ale that truly represents the core values of our brewery. Perfectly balanced, full bodied flavours and fruity aromas combine to complete this truly artisan craft ale. Brewed with only the finest local Goldings and Fuggles hops from Brook House Farm in Bromyard, Ludlow Gold is everything that a good, honest pint should be.
A special take on our much loved Old Henry recipe. A warming auburn ale, delicately spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and star anise. A subtle spice to welcome in the colder months. Limited edition brew, when it’s gone – it’s gone.
The pale brown to amber medium bodied beer has a strong hop character. It's a bitter but with unconventional warm tones of malt that lingers on the palette, the complex malty flavours gives richness, balanced by the clean hoppy finish. A good session bitter brewed with local British hops picked from the farm seven miles down the road in Worcestershire - Fuggles, Goldings, Challenger and Progress.
