A renowned beer from a recipe passed down by the Roberts family who owned the brewery for several generations; a pale-straw-coloured, premium bitter with simple, light malty-sweetness, delicately balanced with light bitterness of floral, earthy character.
This has a golden ale complexion with a papaya, pineapple and lemon aroma. Gold has a soft, full bodied creamy taste.
A full-flavoured session pale ale with enticing light amber looks, a delightful floral aroma, delivering a tropical fruity, hoppy flavour.
Pale Maris Otter finest brewing malt delivers the inviting pale golden hue of Swan Blonde. The hops cover Challenger for bittering and Cascade, Ernest and Goldings for aroma, all grown in the Hopshires, specifically the Hereford-Ledbury-Bromyard triangle. What stands out for us is the honey, spicy notes from Head Brewer’s favoured Goldings hops. At 3.7% it is distinctly sessionable.
