This is a dark (mild style) refreshing ale brewed with pale and roast barley, plus added wheat malts, producing a sweeter almost honeyed edge. Three different hop varieties are used to give this brew a delightful fruit and liquorice aftertaste.

Our original beer, taken from an old recipe, is an India Pale Ale (amber in colour). Full bodied beer with a distinctive bitterness, fruit to the fore in the taste with hops becoming increasingly dominant in the taste and finish. Hops: Goldings and Fuggles.

Beautifully balanced with a delicate hop aroma, subtle malty sweetness and a crisp finish. Refreshing, balanced and full of flavour. This is a captivating golden ale, sophisticated in taste and rich in colour. Edinburgh Gold pours deep gold with a white head. On the nose is a complex blend of noble hops and a little caramel sweetness. The taste is medium to light-bodied with continental hops and moderate bitterness providing a pleasing smooth finish.
