Welcome to the Drift Series, four beers that celebrate a British hop base with an inspired worldwide hop drift. This golden ale kicks off the series, taking it back in time we have energised a BBF vault brew from 2012 - Bitter Californian. Turning in with a British hop base UK Chinook and Jester for a grapefruit bitterness start, US Magnum and Cascade turn up the grapefruit with a citrus resin swerve. Pouring deep pale for a sweet malt balance. Sierra Nevada / vault inspired. Gluten free.

This thick juicy cask Pale Ale is packed full of Amarillo at flameout and double dry-hopped with yet more Amarillo and Motueka for a huge fruity citrusy aroma and lush notes of orange and mandarin on the palate. This monster hop profile sits well on a malt bed of pale ale, oats and Munich malt.
