Loosely means Summer BeerĀ (taken from Czech and Italian). Originally brewed for the Summer season but due to overwhelming popularity it is now permanent. A pale, dry, citrus, hoppy session ale.
Rich amber in colour with superb fruity aromas which are complemented by a delicious blend of malty tastes. Toffee and malt combine with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness followed by a refreshingly dry finish.
Named after a local blacksmiths, this beer is complex in character as is fitting for a championship winning ale. Red Smiddy is a smooth, dry ale with a unique spicy aroma and flavour. Its reddish hue, warm glow and tight head gives it a presence that makes it stand out against its competitors.
