A full-bodied, very distinctive beer with a bitter-sweet aftertaste.
An easy drinking and refreshing IPA. Fresh dry hop, herbal character is provided by the mix of Challenger and First Gold hops. The use of crystal malt in the grist gives a satisfying toffee/caramel note and the addition of a little black malt adds just enough astringency to give a clean, dry finish. The ABV has been reduced from 3.6% due to the recent duty rules.
A refreshing, lightly hopped golden beer with citrus and tropical fruit notes coming from four fragrant hops; Amarillo, Centennial, Citra and Galaxy. Delicious and thirst quenching.
A brew with an excellent balance of sweetness and bitterness that combines with a subtle hop character. Available in cask only, this is a distinctive beer with a full and satisfying finish.
An incresingly dry, hoppy, bitter finish complements the spicy, citrus character of this full-flavoured and well balanced amber beer.
We’ve spent a while trying to perfect the perfect cask pale ale and using a combination of Cascade, Citra and Ekuanot hops we think we’ve nailed it. Pine and citrus notes combined with a light floral touch will see drinkers sipping on the session time and time again. A crystal clear golden colour will make it appealing to even those most traditional of cask consumers.
A light and zingy go to IPA. Extra pale base malts are used to keep it crisp and give the hops a great platform to dance on. Masses of hop additions during the whirlpool and a huge dose of dry hops make this a brilliantly 'easy' IPA. Hops: Columbus, Centennial, Simcoe, Amarillo, Galaxy, Vic Secret and Mosaic. Vegan friendly.
This is quite simply a perfectly-executed session IPA. The aroma is hoppy, balanced between tropical and grapefruit notes, and at 4% it’s a truly sessionable beer.
Like the Queen wearing dirty sneakers, it's traditionally British with a rock star twist of American hops, giving citrus and tropical fruit, a round body and a drink-me-faster bitterness.
This Trans-Atlantic fusion IPA is light golden in colour with tropical fruits and light caramel on the nose. The palate soon becomes assertive and resinous with the New Zealand hops balanced by the biscuit malt. The finish is aggressive and dry with the hops emerging over the warming alcohol.
Made in the Aspall house style by blending culinary and bittersweet apple varieties such as Cox and Russet to deliver the refreshing, crisp taste of just-bitten apples. Delivering the refreshing, crisp taste of just-bitten apples with a light to medium body. A new mid-strength cider for all occasions.
This beer is dark strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Goldings hops and natural plum flavouring. Take the opportunity and go for the low hanging fruit, this sumptuous beer really is a plum!
The beer that changed everything. The first brew we perfected, the beer that made our name with its distinctive bitter, clean and refreshingly dry flavour. Made with only the best Maris Otter malt blended with a variety of English hops (a secret that we can never share), Butcombe Original is the classic session beer.
