Old Rosie is the name given to our 1921 Aveling and Porter steam roller, that still sits in our yard in Herefordshire. Our IPA recipe is influenced by the American Style of IPA beers, golden straw in colour with a lacing head. It gives a nice aroma of floral hops and a background of malt on the nose. A nice medium-bodied beer that shows some caramelised malt on the palate with balanced bittering hops. The long finish has yet more of the floral notes encountered in the aroma.
