This one is all about the hops. A solid malt bill plays host to Cascade, Chinook, Simcoe, Citra and Centennial hops in this hop forward yet balanced session ale. Grown in the North Western states of the US, these famous varieties bring big citrus flavours and pine notes whilst the late additions and dry hop provide grapefruit and floral aromas.
Our highly popular, award winning American Pale Ale. This ale features a glowing amber colour, robust malt base and West Coast American hops. The solid malt backbone allows us to use more of these hops, which feature a higher alpha acid content, giving a bold citrus fruit flavour and a piney character quintessential of this style of beer. The bitterness is lasting but not overpowering.
A session IPA brewed with hops from the Pacific North-West of America. It has a bold citrus character with grapefruit notes and a crisp bitter finish. This is our West Coast IPA re-badged for the Six Nations.
Our winter seasonal ale, this 4.5% porter is brewed using a complex blend of dark malts, including a small amount of smoked malt for a rich and warming flavour with a subtle and delicate smoky character. The beer is then conditioned on toasted French oak chips for 10 days, imparting subtle notes of vanilla and enhancing its depth and character.
A copper coloured bitter. The carefully selected malt bill provides hints of caramel, which are perfectly balanced with the best English hops, giving notes of berry fruits.
This English style Pale Ale is easy drinking. Brewed to unite hop lovers and traditional ale drinkers. It has a complex malt bill to give a shimmering copper colour that's fortified by an abundance of new world hops: Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic and Cascade. At 3.8% it's a perfect house pale and we're proud to brew it all year!
Award winning golden ale made using the finest pale barley malt to give a clean and refreshing taste. Citrus hop flavour and an enticing floral aroma.
Double Maxim's 'Big Brother' and a multi award winner. A strong premium ale brewed with a hint of Demerara sugars. Dark ruby in colour, Maximus has a sweet liquorice taste that is warming and easy to drink. Beware of its underlying strength.
Bitter with a faint flowery aroma and a moderately fruity, malty taste. The finish is long but pleasantly bitter with some sweetness and dryness.
A full-bodied, very distinctive beer with a bitter-sweet aftertaste.
Powerful fruitiness, with flavours reminiscent of redcurrants, raspberries and strawberries intermingled with citrus notes. The fruitiness is balanced out by the famous Ruddles bitterness and by a delicate aroma.
A subtle injection of Elder flowers defines this beer. Unlike some other brews of this type, there is no heavy floral scent, but more of the tiniest hint of this spring bloom. This beer has plenty of character and a lovely bitter finish.
Big hoppy IPA style beer, packed full of Kiwi hops with hints of honey and nectar and plenty of tropical citrus and floral notes.
