Brewed exclusively for J D Wetherspoon at Banks’s Brewery, Wolverhamptom from an original recipe by Richard Adamson, Young Henry's Brewery, New South Wales, Australia. Hops: Galaxy and Topaz.
This ruby-coloured strong ale is brewed to an ancient secret recipe, held for over 300 years at Levens Hall, Cumbria. It is subtly spiced to produce an enticing and complex flavour, with sweet, fruity and ginger notes all evident. Hops: Goldings and Northern Brewer.
This rare beer has been brewed again, after a few years’ break, especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. It is deep red in colour, with a flavour which, although clean and refreshing, conjures up roasted nuts and dark chocolate, along with a lingering taste of liquorice and dark fruits.
A full-bodied, very distinctive beer with a bitter-sweet aftertaste.
Powerful fruitiness, with flavours reminiscent of redcurrants, raspberries and strawberries intermingled with citrus notes. The fruitiness is balanced out by the famous Ruddles bitterness and by a delicate aroma.
Old Rosie is the name given to our 1921 Aveling and Porter steam roller, that still sits in our yard in Herefordshire. Strong, reliable and so loved by everyone in the Westons family, we named this cloudy cider in her honour. Light, crisp and dry, this truly old fashioned cloudy cider is slowly matured and left unfiltered.
An easy drinking traditional cloudy medium dry cider blended to give a fresh apple flavour with hints of citrus and spice.
The legendary Black Dragon! This cider now has quite a following amongst the most descerning cider drinkers. It is rich in colour, body and flavour with a fresh, fruity aroma.
