This single-hopped Mosaic pale ale is designed specifically for cask. We used a classic malt bill of mostly Best Ale Malt with a good portion of Extra Pale malt. We then whirlpooled 5kg Mosaic for a subtle bitterness and a fruity aroma. Finally, we dry-hopped with 10kg Mosaic BBC. All be it quite restrained hopping for us, this beer punches well above its weight.
A silky keg stout brewed using a unique blend of four coloured malts which impart a rich, complex flavour, balanced by the finest Admiral hops, and finished with a smooth, creamy head.
The combination of Nelson Sauvin and Motueka strike you immediately with a citrus punch, quickly followed by gooseberry on the palate. Waimea and Trident collided in the whirlpool, providing even more lime and a touch of piney bitterness to balance the citrus. We've partnered with Lallemand to use a brand new yeast called Pomona. The combination instantly makes you feel nostalgic, memories of frozen lollies on the beach and relaxation come flooding back. The sweetness provided by the ripe fruit is immediately balanced by the lip-puckering sourness on the finish. Vegan friendly.
