This American pale ale is a look back on the beer that started it all for our brewer Jim. "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" was first brewed ten years ago next year and it's still fondly remembered by many in the local beer scene. The beer is a bright, crisp and complex American pale ale, using layers of Cascade, Columbus, Citra, Idaho 7 and Eclipse hops in various formats across the boil and in a generous dry hop. This brings heaps of flavour and aroma, with mango, passionfruit, blackcurrant and orange zest, a hint of dankness and a refreshingly bitter finish, all complimented by some rye in the grain bill that adds a spicy biscuity depth.
