This is more an approximation of the kind of Mild that was rife in the 1950s. Dark, aromatic and complex but low in alcohol and easy drinking at the same time. Five different malts including amber, medium and dark crystal and chocolate might stir memories of a Werther’s Original. Hops from the UK are Ernest and Goldings.

Using no less than five hop varieties with a dry hop charge of 20g/l, pushing toward DIPA levels of intensity, we've utilised Idaho 7 and Nelson Sauvin in T90 pellet form, along with their CGX versions. With a final flourish of New Zealand Hop's latest experimental variety NZ-106 and a whisper of Abstrax Hops Skyfarm Pineapple.
