Rich amber in colour with superb fruity aromas which are complemented by a delicious blend of malty tastes. Toffee and malt combine with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness followed by a refreshingly dry finish.
A full bodied porter using five different malts, English Bramling Cross hops and demerara sugar. Parkin flavouring added post fermentation, encapsulates the autumnal subtle taste of black treacle and ginger.
This ebony-coloured stout is surprisingly light, with an easy-drinking character, plus chocolate and blood-orange notes providing a distinctive flavour. Hops: Northdown. Collaboration with Nethergate Brewery.
