Tastes of fresh raspberries and summer pudding with an underlying bitterness to balance the sweetness. All on a perplexing light caramel malt base.
Originally blended from our Fine Light and Best Dark ales as a special for a local pub, this is now brewed as an independent ale and supplied to several houses.
Meaning 'Red Dwarf' in Afrikaans, this is our take on a red ale, we decided to do something full bodied, a bit controversial and something that crossed the boundary between what we should have brewed and what we really wanted to brew, complemented by some big hitter hops, a lovely ruby red colour and leaving you want more, this may just be our best red to date.
