We build the flavour of this returning beer and by layering 9 different malt varieties to develop a complex and delicious stout. We increased our adjunct with this new edition and steeped the beer in cacao nibs, nougat and vanilla pods. We brew the beer using lactose - hence the 'milk stout' moniker, which gives the beer its velvety thick mouthfeel. This beer has buckets of character from the chocolate, vanilla and nougat, whilst remaining drinkable and not too sweet like a good stout should. Contains lactose.
Now that we're into winter and cask season (though we think it's all year round here), we've decided to brew a classic style! With a crisp bitterness and an enticing golden hue, we used Ahtanum and Hallertau Blanc to give the peppery and grassy notes you'd expect. Vegan friendly.

Summerlands takes the full hop experience of a true IPA and packs it into a low alcohol brew. The aroma is heavy with citrus and pine and this bursts across the palate to blend with smooth tropical fruit flavours. The bitter finish is light, but punchy.
We first brewed our Burton Ale with the Kernel brewery back in the summer of 2011, inspired by historical brewing recipes from the early 20th Century. This iteration, fermented on our union system, is malty, rich and dark with a gentle balancing bitterness from the Golding hops. Roasted malts and special brewing sugars make our Burton Ale the perfect winter warmer.
