We initially made the nitrogenised version so we could have a nitro stout in our Taproom, but the beer has been so warmly received that we're now brewing it regularly. If you know anything about Kernel, you'll know we love to iterate, experiment and expand our understanding, so a London stout derivative was always inevitable. They taste surprisingly similar, there's more of a tickle/prickle on the cask version, yet the carbonation is still light, a touch sweeter and more fruity.
