Kveik is a family of yeast strains originating from the farmhouse breweries of Norway, isolated from the cultures that specific breweries have used for generations. We have partnered these traits with quick souring lactobacillus strains to create a fruity Sour with a soft, smooth body. This we combined with two popular British fruits, pears and blackberries to form a tart, rich, refreshing beer.

This is our session strength Nitro Porter that takes inspiration from our flagship beer, The Porter. Creamy, smooth and truly sessionable. What better way to create an effortlessly drinkable dark beer than to brew it with nitro. The resulting creaminess and smooth mouthfeel balance perfectly with the subtle roasted notes of coffee and chocolate.

We first brewed a single varietal with New Zealand sourced Nelson Sauvin hops back in 2012 before perfecting the interpretation with this superb 2018 version. Gooseberry and grapefruit flavours dominate in this pale golden beer showcasing the most famous hop from the Land of the Long White Cloud.
