Our interpretation of a classic dessert. Based on our Tatton Black, but elegantly different with tones of rich, dark coffee and vanilla ice cream - balancing bitterness with freshness and flavour.
A delicate simple and refreshing beer that is hopped using one hop that provides a slightly citrus aroma, but gives a lovely creaminess mouthfeel.
Golden in colour, spicy aromas with citric notes from the hops, balanced by warm malt and a wonderful burst of zest. Beautifully balanced, refreshing beer.
A light, refreshing and beautifully balanced golden ale. Brewed with pale ale and lager malts and Cascade whole hops.
A classic light amber coloured best bitter with a clean malt flavour and fine hop character derived from a blend of aroma hops.
A light refreshing ale with an intense flavour originating from the Styrian hop.
The concept was to create a juicy tropical beer. A brew you can sit on and drink all day, rammed with juicy malts and huge tropical aromas of mango and grapefruit. Massive additions of American hops are added to the whirlpool giving huge hop flavour. The beer is then dry hopped for days, driving the punchy aromas so you can smell it from miles away!
A session IPA with a fruity hop character driven by a bucket load of Mosaic, with a hazy complexion and a delicate finish.
We wanted to create a light, crisp, punchy, go to beer! A beer that you know you can pick up and appreciate or simply get it down ya neck. Extra pale base malts are used to keep it crisp and give the hops a great platform to dance on. Masses of hop additions during the whirlpool and a huge dose of dry hops make this a brilliantly 'easy' IPA.
Silky smooth, rich and satisfying. Distinct roasted barley creates a smoky, dark roast coffee aroma with hints of treacle, liquorice and nutty notes. Full without being heavy, the velvety body develops into deep, characterful flavours of dark chocolate and malt, fully complimented by a striking balance of bitterness and sweetness with a fine, dry finish. A refreshing and distinguished session stout.
This very pale hoppy ale is made from low colour Maris Otter malt. A combination of three high-alpha American hops produce an intensely aromatic and resinous finish.
A dark twist on our IPA, the same perfect balance of zesty fruits, mild liquorice and black pepper but delivered in a deceptive black beer, with a final citrus burst to add to the mystery of this IPA.
Our award-winning flagship beer! Unicorn was born in 1896 and was originally called Robinsons Best Bitter. Unusually light, agile, yet complex, Unicorn hasn't changed in over a hundred years. Dripping with heritage, it's a magnificent, thirst-quenching, thoroughbred bitter. The first of a bloodline that continues to this day.
Pale, forthright beer, with a generous amount of Comet hops, giving an unambiguous, dependable taste.
One of the original Ossett core beers from 1998 and SIBA national champion. This regal beer continues to be a timeless classic. A simple combination of pale malt and American Cascade hops result in a crisp, dry and refreshing pale ale with aromas of citrus fruit and balanced bitterness.
A refreshing blonde ale with a mellow bitterness. Brewed using English Maris Otter barley and flavoured with a fruity hop. A real thirst quencher.
Our most popular and famous beer. JW Lees Bitter is an all-malt brew and sets the standard for Northern ales. One of the CAMRA guidebooks described it as an amber beer with malty and citrus fruit aftertaste. They approved and we hope you do too.
This session IPA is heavily hopped with Citra and Chinook, producing huge tropical and citrus notes, carried by a soft, velvety malt base of pale malt and torrefied wheat. Respire is bright and incredibly drinkable, making it perfect for the pub garden as summer rolls around.

Made with 17 different apples, pressed, and left for a couple of years to get extra tasty, its crisp, refreshing, and the best way to celebrate, well, pretty much anything.
Magners Dark Fruit
The only way to embrace the dark side Bursting with sharp blackcurrant and jammy berries, Magners Dark Fruit cider is a refreshingly fruity addition to the Magners family.
