Our renowned premium bitter ale is copper coloured and has a nutty richness derived from Pale and Crystal malts and three hops; Challenger, Goldings and Fuggles.
Aromatic roast malts give a deep red colour and Fuggles Hops give a mild level of bitterness and aroma.
A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.
A perfectly balanced beer combining subtle yet complex flavours. This creates an amber ale which is both satisfying and deliciously moreish.
Pale and aromatic bitter with a citrus fruit aroma and hints of tangerine from the Crystal Hops.
Meet our sweetest beer, a perfectly balanced pale ale with carefully selected hops infused with the essence of honeycomb creating this extremely moreish, unique pale ale. It's like a crunchie in a glass! Vegan friendly.
This Trans-Atlantic fusion IPA is light golden in colour with tropical fruits and light caramel on the nose. The palate soon becomes assertive and resinous with the New Zealand hops balanced by the biscuit malt. The finish is aggressive and dry with the hops emerging over the warming alcohol.
Traditional cider blended with traditional mango.
Our traditional dry Farmhouse Cider is made from the freshly pressed juice of locally grown cider apples. Varieties such as Dabinett, Kingston Black and Somerset Redstreak are blended to produce our full flavoured still cider. Aged in oak vats to produce a full rounded bodied taste.
A fine, naturally cloudy cider, Orchard Dew is medium in sweetness, with a crisp refreshing taste.
This is the very first cider I produced. Giving you the dry refreshing taste and velvety tones of cider made in the traditional way, best served icecold, after a hard days work or on one of those longingly wanted hot summer days.
Summer amber beer brewed using honey from the farm hives. This gives the beer a slightly dry finish since honey is completely fermented. Gluten free.
A sweet porter that delivers a fresh, modern take on the beer style that one dominated British brewing. An authentic Victorian recipe is paired with the addition of whole raisins in the mash as a precursor to the fresh pureed plum in the final stages. The result is a finely balanced blend of mellow dark malts with a subtle red glow and hoppy aromas that compliment a sweet yet delicate fruity nose. Gluten free and vegan friendly.
This pale ale is brewed to be a classic representation of its style. It's light copper in the glass and if you get your nose in there (not too far!) you'll pick up a touch of malt behind the soft fruit and grassy aromatics. On the palate the malt is more pronounced but only enough to balance out the hop flavours, particularly from the El Dorado, Citra and Mosaic hops, which favour the tropical and citrus side of the spectrum. Gluten free and vegan friendly.
An easy drinking, delicious IPA brewed with 100% American hops. Lightly caramelised malts provide the central core to the 4.8% malt bill, but the American Cascade is the main attraction bringing bold grapefruit and floral aromas to the beer, which finishes with a clean, refreshing bitterness. Gluten free and vegan friendly.
Fruity golden ale with stone fruit and citrus flavours.
A delicious coppery coloured session bitter. With this beer, it's all about the malt which is smooth and rich with a touch of sweetness, somewhere between a Hobnob and a digestive. The hops are light but deliberate - enough to zip up the end of the beer with a nice clean finish. Gluten free and vegan friendly.
Delicate hop flavours are complemented by the addition of fresh watermelon in this crisp, fruity and refreshing pale ale that has a light, bitter finish. Vegan friendly.
A classic approach to a style of beer first developed in Victorian London. Roasted malt and chocolate flavours are abound in London Thunder; a smooth, dark porter brewed using a blend of 7 malts and English hops. Vegan friendly.
Pale malts and cutting edge hops combine to produce this moreish IPA. Gluten free and vegan friendly.
An iconic amber ale. The embodiment of Black Sheep: quality ingredients brewed in a unique way – distinct flavour characteristics come from our now-rare Yorkshire Square fermenting vessels. Malt character leads with sweet biscuit and caramel, complimenting fruity raisin and pear drop notes from our house yeast. Goldings hops finish off the fruitcake-like flavours with hints of earthy bitter orange. Complex, balanced and incredibly drinkable. Previously known as Special Ale.
This IPA is dark, rich and classically bitter. An easy drinker, berry fruits and citrus notes sing through against a deliciously malty backbone.
This jet black stout has flavours reminiscent of espresso coffee and dark chocolate, with more than a touch of smoke on the finish. Vanguard and Columbus hops give the beer a deep yet understated touch of citrus fruit, with delicate herbal and woody notes making this a deliciously moreish dark beer. Gluten free.
A tasty golden bitter, with an ABV that makes it sessionable yet full bodied, and hops which give enough flavour to be tasty but not overwhelming. The moderate biscuity malt profile balances out the hops and softens off the finish. Gluten free and vegan friendly.
An easy drinking and refreshing IPA. Fresh dry hop, herbal character is provided by the mix of Challenger and First Gold hops. The use of crystal malt in the grist gives a satisfying toffee/caramel note and the addition of a little black malt adds just enough astringency to give a clean, dry finish. The ABV has been reduced from 3.6% due to the recent duty rules.
A delicious dark ale with a deep malt flavour from roasted barley and a fruity bitterness from Bramling Cross hops.
A full-bodied, traditional, strong Cornish ale brimming with a kaleidoscope of flavours. Brewed with plenty of malt and lashings of English Progress and Golding hops, Hicks is a truly classic ale of considerable depth and complexity.
A full flavoured, moderate-level ABV pale for the days when you're not pounding out the miles, and are able to enjoy a relaxing pint down the pub! The hops we've stuffed into this one are Amarillo, Mosaic and Galaxy, and along with some lovely roasty malts it's a punchy, citrusy, well rounded pale ale.
Warming, malty and fruity. Pale and amber malts contribute to a mouth filling and satisfying 'Horlicks' and biscuity maltiness. Challenger and First Gold give a base note of herbal hop and Fuggle as a late hop contributes the main fragrant fruity and floral and spicy notes. Fermented slowly to give just enough fruity esters providing a complex, satisfying and warming experience.
A blend of three hops from three different countries, Old Faithful is a premium-strength pale ale that highlights the berry-fruit qualities that each of the hops (Bramling Cross, Pacific Gem and Cluster) bring to the party. Aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry are followed up by a refreshing level of bitterness.
A golden ale with a light malt bill, and hopped with Simcoe, Amarillo and Magnum. It's a hoppy, fruity, delightful afternoon hijacker! Gluten free and vegan friendly.
This clear orange-yellow medium-dry cider uses the single-variety organic Dabinett apple to deliver a full-bodied, fruity character with tannin notes.
