A mild brown session ale with complex malt sweetness. Toffee, fruity caramel notes. Initially malty giving way to a lingering bitterness and a long hoppy finish. An excellent session beer that grew out of Oakleaf’s Quercus Folium.
Well balanced malt also provides the coppery bronze colour. Tangerine and grapefruit comes from the use of East Kent Goldings, Cluster and Liberty hops. The finish is crisp and clean.
An incresingly dry, hoppy, bitter finish complements the spicy, citrus character of this full-flavoured and well balanced amber beer.
