A full-bodied, deep golden brown beer, Jail Ale has a well-rounded flavour and a rich, moreish aftertaste. We're proud to have achieved many top awards with Jail Ale in the Premium Bitter categories at numerous beer festivals.

Warming, malty and fruity. Pale and amber malts contribute to a mouth filling and satisfying 'Horlicks' and biscuity maltiness. Challenger and First Gold give a base note of herbal hop and Fuggle as a late hop contributes the main fragrant fruity and floral and spicy notes. Fermented slowly to give just enough fruity esters providing a complex, satisfying and warming experience.

A premium strength ale, ruby coloured with a rich flavour and full body. The balance between bitterness and fruitiness from the Bramling Cross and Fuggle hops used give XB the distinctively complex aroma, making it the beer to savour.

An incresingly dry, hoppy, bitter finish complements the spicy, citrus character of this full-flavoured and well balanced amber beer.
