A long-time favourite for Thornbridge drinkers, and one of our earliest recipes, Brother Rabbit is our core golden ale offering in cask. We use a fantastic Norfolk malt which gives a great base to the beer and a lightly resinous character, the hops present a fantastic, punchy, lemon flavour with grassy hints.
Melanoidin, wheat and pale ale malts provide a full bodied malt base to support multiple generous additions of Citra hops in this golden coloured IPA. Added at three stages during the boil and then dry hopped during fermentation, the Citra lends an intense lemon and tropical fruit aroma and a mouthwatering astringent bitterness.
