Haast’s Eagle was the largest eagle known to have ever flown the skies, large enough to grasp prey the size of a small child. The largest fossilised example was found by Haast in New Zealand hence we’ve gone big with the New Zealand hops in this juicy DDH Pale.
Traditional bitterness meets a twist of citrus in this clean, contemporary take on a classic.
Our tribute to the beloved hops of New England, in particular the unique US variety Citra. No other hop comes close to the intense mango and orange citrus notes that Citra delivers. We back it up with a touch of Mosaic for its deep tropical and berry notes, and Columbus, which delivers just a touch of dank pine and black pepper to add another dimension to this flavoursome but easy-drinking hazy pale.
We love brewing big juicy IPA's but fancied something a bit more sessionable, but without skimping on flavour. Packed to the brim with Citra, Mosiac and Moutere for a bit of New Zealand crispness!
A smooth, creamy, roasty, dark and brooding ale made with pride using the finest northern water. A slightly lower ABV then the cask version.
We wanted to create a light, crisp, punchy, go to beer! A beer that you know you can pick up and appreciate or simply get it down ya neck. Extra pale base malts are used to keep it crisp and give the hops a great platform to dance on. Masses of hop additions during the whirlpool and a huge dose of dry hops make this a brilliantly 'easy' IPA.
A crisp, medium dry cyder with a delicate aroma and taste of fresh pressed apples.
A golden ale hopped with Mosaic and Strata. Collaboration with Fyne Ales.
Our debut IPA packs a tropical punch thanks to a heavy dry-hop of Citra, Mosaic and BRU-1. That combo balances perfectly with the hazy bitterness on offer that will leave you wanting more.
Dark oatmeal stout, roasted malts give a smooth and creamy finish.
Pale copper in colour with a vibrant, fruity hop smell. Flavour is dry with toffee apples and a bitter finish.
Modern Extra Pale Ale with assertive bitterness and aromas of Rakau and Nelson Sauvin hops. Fruity, winey and gooseberry notes, refreshing, zingy, to respond to the latest consumer needs.
After the reception that Maris the Dank Engine DIPA received earlier this year we decided to make this a bit of a series. Enter engine #2, this time featuring some Chinook Cryo hops for tons of zesty grapefruit and piney, resin. To keep everything on track we've shovelled in plenty of Columbus and Simcoe for maximum old school dank, bitterness. For some modern juicy/fruity elements we've also dry hopped with fresh Galaxy and Citra. A big and bold beer that's oh so smooth.
If you're drinking this DDH Pale, congrats, you're gonna make it! At a modest (for us!) 5.1% abv this pale packs quite a punch. Hopped generously with some of our favourite juicy hops: Azacca, El Dorado Cryo, Simcoe, along with our brewers new favourite, Meridian! Expect the usual thick and smooth texture of our DDH Pales with plenty of tropical fruitiness but with a bright, fresh, citrusy pine element as well. Don't stress, WAGMI! (We're All Gonna Make It!).
