A fantastically balanced ruby mild with flavours of caramel, nuts and candied fruits throughout. Brewed for International Women's Day 2023. Our brewers, Alice and Laura, are passionate about the Peak District and wanted to pay tribute to the work of Ethel Haythornthwaite, a Sheffield based environmentalist.

Our tribute to the beloved hops of New England, in particular the unique US variety Citra. No other hop comes close to the intense mango and orange citrus notes that Citra delivers. We back it up with a touch of Mosaic for its deep tropical and berry notes, and Columbus, which delivers just a touch of dank pine and black pepper to add another dimension to this flavoursome but easy-drinking hazy pale.

Inspired by the ridiculously tasty hoppy beers we fell for, we got brewing our own versions, over and over again, while listening to the blues greats. The heady concoction of old time blues records and juicy American hops transfixed us from the start and the rolling man was born in these sessions! Incredibly soft and delicate with intense tropical fruit hop aromatics and saturation, this is our vision of the perfect pale ale.
