An imperial stout brewed with cacao nibs in both the whirlpool, where they contribute bitter dark chocolate notes, and also in the fermenter, where they bring a rounder creaminess. Into the fermenter also went lashings of cherry puree, which is paired with cherry-smoked barley in the grist for a more nuanced layering of cherry. Big, boozy, chewy, and loaded with almond and dark choc. Brewed to celebrate our 1st birthday.
