American West Coast pale ale. Gold in colour with a slightly sweet and hoppy finish. Notes of gooseberry, citrus and tropical fruit.
A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.
Warming, malty and fruity. Pale and amber malts contribute to a mouth filling and satisfying 'Horlicks' and biscuity maltiness. Challenger and First Gold give a base note of herbal hop and Fuggle as a late hop contributes the main fragrant fruity and floral and spicy notes. Fermented slowly to give just enough fruity esters providing a complex, satisfying and warming experience.
A traditional style of ale typical of the East of Scotland. A superb classic with a deep copper hue and light bronze creamy foam. 80/- is brewed using Belhaven yeast and allowed to ferment at a slightly higher temperature. This delivers satisfying malt flavours and layers of soft fruit with a toffee finish.
Brown ale with floral aromas followed by a long lasting sweet malty finish with hints of burnt caramel.
