A dark amber biscuity bitter and full of malty flavour, it also makes a great bitter shandy! Brewed during the 1st Lockdown of 2020. It had started life as a popular Howbury brew and after a tweak with the abv to make it a session strength - it was born!
With a palate that is fresh, piercing and focused, complemented by soft malt overtones and pronounced citrus flavours. A strong focus of taut, lemony, grapefruit on the finish which is balanced by a dry bitterness. Hops: Mosaic, Citra and Ekuanot.
A highly drinkable light pale ale packed full of juicy Idaho 7 and Citra hops. Idaho 7 brings a lot of apricot, orange, grapefruit and peach character, while Citra offers a dank hit of grapefruit and ripe tropical fruits. Fermentation on our house yeast offers up stone fruit flavours and the finish is a pleasant soft bitterness.
A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.
Tropical fruit and peach flavours come through from the carefully selected hops in this New England Pale Ale. A very well balanced big hitter. Added oats result in a smooth mouthfeel. Fans of a fruitier style of Pale Ale will relish this excellent beer.
Our IPA is brewed with blend of two American whole leaf hops, Mosaic and Cascade. A deep golden beer with a fruity, citrus taste and a floral, spicy aroma.
Our super-sessionable pale. A soft hazy with Vermont yeast. Showcasing Amarillo and Simcoe hops for tangerine, citrus and grapefruit tones.
Marionette has been brewed with hops in mind. With a mash consisting mainly of Pilsner malt to keep the flavours crisp and clean, and fermented with a strain of Kveik known for its clean character, the hop flavours are front and centre. Expect a bold citrus character with juicy pineapple notes, with a light bitter finish.
This is our session strength Nitro Porter that takes inspiration from our flagship beer, The Porter. Creamy, smooth and truly sessionable. What better way to create an effortlessly drinkable dark beer than to brew it with nitro. The resulting creaminess and smooth mouthfeel balance perfectly with the subtle roasted notes of coffee and chocolate.
A real apple cider infused with tart rhubarb and blended with vanilla for a smooth session cider.
Named after the delightful sound of pigs when they come across some windfall apples! Like those pigs this is full of character. A rich bronze cider that is smooth as it is tasty. Beautifully balanced with a satisfyingly rounded finish.
A Thistly Cross special edition matured in ex Slyrs whisky casks to nurture the natural characteristics of the cider, made potent in the wood. This creates a genuine Scottish Bavarian Highland classic; a medium dry cider infused with the unique flavours of the oak cask.
A more challenging cider for the connoisseur. Again, Dabbinett apples feature highly in the blend along with other traditional bitter sweets such as Harry Masters and Ellis bitters. Not so dry as to be unpleasant, just slightly sweeter to ensure a crisp balanced cider where all the flavors really shine through.
Our lighter alcohol cider, 3 Point 9 is a thirst-quenching, very drinkable, session cider.
A pale ale abundantly hopped with Amarillo for floral and tropical flavours with a punchy bitterness. This brand new hazy pale is EXCLUSIVE to cask - hooray!
Double the trouble and triple the hops, this yeast from the east will unleash an army of Citra and Simcoe hop flavours across your palette, taking over your mind, body and spirit.
DIPA with Citra, Vic Secret, Galaxy and Bru-1. Collaboration with Wylam.
A big juicy NEIPA with a sessionable ABV. This beer is fermented with Vermont Ale yeast and double dry hopped with pellet hops to ensure a fruity/citrusy aroma.
A very generously double dry hopped session IPA packed with the three hop powerhouses, Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe. Waves of tropical fruit, loads of berry, and light lemon zest with passion fruit making noise in the back. Masses of flavour at a very sessionable ABV.
A bright and fruity pale ale featuring Idaho 7 and Simcoe hops layered over an oaty, extra-pale malt base. Stone fruits and citrus on the nose with hints of bubble gum, followed by resinous pine, grapefruit and a clean bitter finish.
