We wanted to take what we learnt on recent brews such as Surrealistic Pillow and design a beer that works well in both cask and keg. We used our usual oat heavy malt bill and added some of our favourite yet subtle hops. We used Cascade, Cashmere and Idaho 7 for a lovely floral, peach and mango flavour profile. This delicate refreshing pale can be enjoyed cold and fizzy or cool and low carb.
Pale ale, light and dry with an up front hit of orange rind, a background hint of pine and some pink grapefruit in the finish. Hops: Centennial, Simcoe, Citra and Admiral.
A sour packed with locally sourced strawberries, blackberries and raspberries. Mouth watering flavours of berries and cream, smooth and full bodied. Intense aromas of fresh hedgerow fruits.
Citrusy and tropical pale ale brewed with a copious amount of Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic hops in both the whirlpool and dry hop dancing across a delicious soft malt base.
Hazy by name, hazy by nature. If there's one thing this beer is about it's Just Haze. You'll find flavours of pineapple, grapefruit and mango obscured in this IPA. Hops: Idaho 7, Talus and Mosaic Cryo.
A glorious pale golden colour, this outrageously hoppy sessionable IPA features Mosaic, Ekuanot and Ella hops. Packed full of flavour, the hops shine through with grassy, grapefruit notes. A wonderfully complex beer, brewed with New England yeast for extra body and juiciness - crushable!
A rebrew of one of our favourite pales, Another Life is packed with Citra, Galaxy and Amarillo Cryo, big ol' body on this one.
This is our session strength Nitro Porter that takes inspiration from our flagship beer, The Porter. Creamy, smooth and truly sessionable. What better way to create an effortlessly drinkable dark beer than to brew it with nitro. The resulting creaminess and smooth mouthfeel balance perfectly with the subtle roasted notes of coffee and chocolate.
A clear and refreshing medium cider pepped up with freshly ground root ginger for a fiery kick!
Our original and most popular cider. Dabinett and Michelin apples are blended here to present a very interesting medium cider. A strong appley character is pepped up with a touch of sweetness that just demands that you come back for another taste!
A Thistly Cross special edition matured in ex Slyrs whisky casks to nurture the natural characteristics of the cider, made potent in the wood. This creates a genuine Scottish Bavarian Highland classic; a medium dry cider infused with the unique flavours of the oak cask.
Named after the delightful sound of pigs when they come across some windfall apples! Like those pigs this is full of character. A rich bronze cider that is smooth as it is tasty. Beautifully balanced with a satisfyingly rounded finish.
A more challenging cider for the connoisseur. Again, Dabbinett apples feature highly in the blend along with other traditional bitter sweets such as Harry Masters and Ellis bitters. Not so dry as to be unpleasant, just slightly sweeter to ensure a crisp balanced cider where all the flavors really shine through.
Our lighter alcohol cider, 3 Point 9 is a thirst-quenching, very drinkable, session cider.
A hazy pale ale brewed with oats and wheat in the malt bill to give extra emphasis to that characteristically smooth cask body. Hopped with Citra and El Dorado Incognito in the whirlpool for bitter orange character, followed by more Citra as well as El Dorado in Cryo form for huge aromas of pulpy tropical fruit punch, peach, and watermelon iced tea. Collaboration with Wylam Brewery.
Pupa is built to sit between East and West Coast styles of American IPA. Both aroma and flavour swell with a deep hit of light citrus and ripe tropical fruits. Oats create a full yet smooth mouthfeel and the fruity yeast strain lends a soft stone fruit flavour to the finish.
Heavily hopped Session Pale Ale, brewed with the intention of showcasing the hop variety selected. A refreshing and easy drinking beer with floral and tropical fruit flavours and aromas. Gluten Free.
Rubus combines Australian Vic Secret and American Centennial. This beer fits snugly between a tropical monster and a citrus bomb. A mixed fruit bowl on the nose is followed by ripe tropical fruits and a short, crisp, citrus finish. Wheat a'plenty give us a smooth and full mouthfeel.
This little New England Style IPA has all the haze and hops you love but with the addition of passionfruit that cranks up the aroma and mouthfeel to 11.
A doubled-up version of a firm favourite. Such is the popularity of our Citra and Mosaic DDH IPA, I Have Become The Boat, we soon realised we were going to need a bigger vessel. So we doubled it up to create a DIPA dripping in juicy tropical and stone fruits, with a dank pine backbone.
Our first NEIPA, plenty of haze, lots of clean fruity notes and no bitterness this slips down deceptively easily. This is dry hopped with lots of El Dorado, Citra and Mosaic.
New England IPA hopped with Mosaic and Citra. Juicy, fruity, soft and sunny - our everyday, all day crush! Hazy with low bitterness.
Fresh pressed Italian white grape juice elevates this IPA into winey wonder. A hop trio of El Dorado, Ella and Nelson Sauvin add notes of gooseberry, candied pineapple and spikey tropics. A fun and refreshing beer. Collaboration with Duration.
