Barrel aged mint chocolate imperial stout. It pours dark and thick, giving off a huge chocolatey aroma with just a hint of peppermint. A low level of carbonation and a smooth, velvety body boosts this chocolate experience in a beer glass. The blend of sherry, bourbon and port barrels used during the barrel aging of this beer manage to both complement and give balance to the sweetness of this imperial stout.

Point of Origin Series: Part 3. This imperial stout series was solely formed from a single parti-gyle collaboration brew back in December 2018. All the beers in this series were produced from one single mash. This version is a Black Forest gateaux imperial sweet stout aged for almost 6 years in aged in a single whiskey barrel. Collaboration with Marble Brewery.

We've brewed a straight imperial stout with a light roastiness and fermented using Norwegian Voss kveik yeast. This beer was allowed to ferment very hot and has produced gentle citrus notes to compliment the chocolate and coffee flavours of the base beer.

This strong ale is all about the blending of the barrels; Sherried Whisky, Bourbon, Moscatel, Riversaltes and Port. Each barrel adding a layer of depth and complexity, their characteristics melding and blending into each other. An absolute passion project from our head brewer Mat, and a beer he's wanted to make for a very long time.The nose opens up with dark fruits and plums, followed by the classic banana notes from the Hefeweizen yeast. The taste brings out further quintessential wheat characteristics of banana and light spices, all wrapped around the beautifully boozy, yet light backbone.
