This dark, complex and satisfying beer is based on a 1750s porter recipe, with a distinctive blend of roast malts and chocolate, a dominating fruit flavour and hints of liquorice.

Smooth, malty and slightly nutty; lightly fuggles-hopped for aroma. Previously known as Red Cuillin.

The taste of grain has always been a vital part of the Scottish brewing tradition. The result is an ale with the flavour of gentle hops, a creamy head and just the right amount of bitterness.

The ale started out in 1996 as a winter-only brew. However, the rich malty character and well-balanced hop aroma proved so popular, we decided to make it available all year round. Creamy, full-bodied and smooth, Blaven is also somewhat deceptive - the strongest of our regular ales.

A premium IPA using Maris Otter malt with Wakatu and Pacific Jade hops from New Zealand to give an exquisite thirst-quenching finish.

A blend of 7 grains, 3 hop strains and a late infusion of elderflower and lemon. This aromatic IPA pours a deep gold with aromas of elderflower and citrus hops, followed by sweet caramel. On the tongue the biscuity malts are perfectly balanced with the bitterness of the hops, freshness of the lemon and lingering floral elderflower aftertaste. An extraordinary brew. Vegan friendly.

This award-winning black oatmeal stout has an inviting roast coffee aroma, leading to a robust and rich chocolate flavour, balanced by subtle hop notes and rounded off with a smooth, creamy finish.

Pale golden ale with citrus fruit aromas. Mouth-watering flavours of grapefruit and peach, lead to a crisp bitter zesty finish, to be enjoyed time and time again. Brewed with Citra, El-Dorado and Cascade hops.

A traditional style of ale typical of the East of Scotland. A superb classic with a deep copper hue and light bronze creamy foam. 80/- is brewed using Belhaven yeast and allowed to ferment at a slightly higher temperature. This delivers satisfying malt flavours and layers of soft fruit with a toffee finish.

The perfect marriage between Scottish methods and Scotland's favourite craft cider. We use Glen Moray Distillery casks to give our cider its warming notes of oak, vanilla and honey.

Warming, malty and fruity. Pale and amber malts contribute to a mouth filling and satisfying 'Horlicks' and biscuity maltiness. Challenger and First Gold give a base note of herbal hop and Fuggle as a late hop contributes the main fragrant fruity and floral and spicy notes. Fermented slowly to give just enough fruity esters providing a complex, satisfying and warming experience.
