The beer that changed everything. The first brew we perfected, the beer that made our name with its distinctive bitter, clean and refreshingly dry flavour. Made with only the best Maris Otter malt blended with a variety of English hops (a secret that we can never share), Butcombe Original is the classic session beer.

Otter Ale is a very well balanced beer that delivers the flavours of quality floor malted barley and finishes with a combination of fruit and some bitterness. It's nose is a balance of malt and fruit.

A refreshing golden bitter brimming with character...not to mention citrus hops and fruit. Made with 100% Maris Otter malt, and brewed using a single variety hop...English Fuggles. A malty fresh vitality gives way to a full bittersweet finish...pure Gold!

An easy drinking and refreshing IPA. Fresh dry hop, herbal character is provided by the mix of Challenger and First Gold hops. The use of crystal malt in the grist gives a satisfying toffee/caramel note and the addition of a little black malt adds just enough astringency to give a clean, dry finish. The ABV has been reduced from 3.6% due to the recent duty rules.

Warming, malty and fruity. Pale and amber malts contribute to a mouth filling and satisfying 'Horlicks' and biscuity maltiness. Challenger and First Gold give a base note of herbal hop and Fuggle as a late hop contributes the main fragrant fruity and floral and spicy notes. Fermented slowly to give just enough fruity esters providing a complex, satisfying and warming experience.

A perfectly balanced beer combining subtle yet complex flavours. This creates an amber ale which is both satisfying and deliciously moreish.

With its distinctive orange hues, this smooth, robust, naturally cloudy cider is a Somerset tradition. For those who like oak-aged cider medium dry, our cidermakers choose apples including Tremlett's Bitter for its tannins, while Dabinett brings a rich, full body.

Naturally cloudy thanks to the juice of the Jonagold apple.

This crafted Somerset cider is full of flavour blended from the highest quality apples, here at Myrtle Farm. A medium dry golden cider, with a smooth and refreshing taste.

A full on blonde cask ale, zesty and aromatic brewed with malted barley, a little wheat, with Amarillo and Citra hop supported by Centennial giving grapefruit, lemon and pine resinous notes that allows the beer to be perfect easy-drinking for any occasion.

An exceptional example of the special bitter beer style, offering substance and depth of flavour without compromising balance and drinkability. An aroma of inviting roasted and dark berry notes gives way to sumptuous, fruity, malty flavour and a moreish hop finish.

A strong, copper-coloured premium bitter with a good malty taste and full-hopped aroma.

This straw-golden beer is brewed with the addition of juniper berries, providing aromatic gin-like botanical notes which combine with a gentle spiciness, floral hoppiness and citrus notes, resulting in a dry, slightly fruity finish. Collaboration with Wicked Wolf Gin.

One of the original, new-style, pale ales to be brewed in the UK, Yankee is a modern classic. Light and easy-drinking, it’s a beer that showcases the floral and citrus fruit aromas of the Cascade hop, grown in the Yakima Valley in Washington State, USA, projected against a back drop of soft Yorkshire water and Golden Promise pale malt. Vegan friendly.

A golden ale hopped with Challenger, Goldings and Fuggles. The aroma is a blend of fresh grassy and floral hop and a subtly soft, caramel-tinged maltiness. The palate is a balance of gentle grainy maltiness and sprightly floral, citrusy fresh hop fruitiness. The finish is bittersweet with hints of citrus fruit weaving in and out.

A light easy drinking ale, with fruity aroma and flavour. Smooth to the taste with a crisp revitalising finish.
