A traditional English best bitter. Crystal and chocolate malts in the mash impart nutty, caramel, and chocolate flavours. Magnum hops in the boil add a clean, soft bitterness that is balanced by the sweetness of dark muscovado sugar. Sovereign hops in the whirlpool contribute subtle orchard fruit and floral notes, creating a well-rounded bittersweet finish.

A blood orange IPA. Light Maris Otter and pale chocolate in the mash give the golden-orange colour. Orange peel in the whirlpool creates a subtle pithy bitterness. Idaho 7, Citra and Simcoe added at various stages during fermentation layer in tropical orange-citrus flavours. Bloody lovely!

In the past we brewed Otter Bright only in the summer. With the new dawn of interest in cask beer, it is perfectly positioned as a great beer for 'new age drinkers' who are discovering cask ale.
