Inspired by the Belgian framboise style, we refermented our base golden sour beer on 250g/l Scottish tayberries harvested within 12 miles of the brewery. Tayberries are a cross between raspberries and blackberries. Brewed with Golden Promise pale malt, wheat, locally grown oats. Fermented for three months with brettanomyces and soured with our house culture. Whilst a framboise style is traditionally brewed with raspberries, we decided to use our local tayberries to showcase their intense raspberry character, vibrant pinkish red hue and huge aroma. Vegan friendly.
