An amber warming ale, with a dried fruit and a malty aroma.
Our Lager takes its inspiration from the German style of lager, Helles. It has a sweet, malty flavour balanced with a light aromatic hoppiness that makes it very refreshing. We use Naked Golden Oats to make our Lager. Naked Golden Oats are grown without husks so that even more sweetness and flavour can be extracted from the grains during brewing.
This Trans-Atlantic fusion IPA is light golden in colour with tropical fruits and light caramel on the nose. The palate soon becomes assertive and resinous with the New Zealand hops balanced by the biscuit malt. The finish is aggressive and dry with the hops emerging over the warming alcohol.
A traditional style of ale typical of the East of Scotland. A superb classic with a deep copper hue and light bronze creamy foam. 80/- is brewed using Belhaven yeast and allowed to ferment at a slightly higher temperature. This delivers satisfying malt flavours and layers of soft fruit with a toffee finish.
Deep golden ale with summer scents of soft and dark fruit. Flavours of citrus and mango with a soft malt background, creamy, hoppy and a lob bitter fruity finish.
The ruby-red ale has chocolate and caramel on the nose, along with a malty chocolate body, balanced by subtle hop note, leading to a traditional Scottish ale finish.
Bitter with a faint flowery aroma and a moderately fruity, malty taste. The finish is long but pleasantly bitter with some sweetness and dryness.
A full-bodied, very distinctive beer with a bitter-sweet aftertaste.
