A refreshing golden ale, easy drinking beer with a lovely dry and bitter finish.
William Quartermaine was one of the original owners of the Wimbledon Brewery . Quartermaine is a great example of an English style IPA, using the very best raw materials which are given free rein to express themselves. The fruity, spicy, floral hop aromas lead to a full, rich, almost light fruit cake middle palate, ending with a clean dry bitter finish.

A perfectly balanced hybrid stout / ruby porter that even pale ale fans can enjoy. Warming, malty and fruity. Pale and amber malts contribute to a mouth filling and satisfying 'Horlicks' and biscuity maltiness. Challenger and First Gold give a base note of herbal hop and Fuggle as a late hop contributes the main fragrant fruity and floral and spicy notes. Fermented slowly to give just enough fruity esters providing a complex, satisfying and warming experience.
This lingering combination of pale Maris Otter malts and choice German hops may make you pause for thought. As you contemplate the gentle biscuit malts, fresh Hersbrucker hops seduce the taste buds educating and enlightening the palate.

An iconic amber ale. The embodiment of Black Sheep: quality ingredients brewed in a unique way – distinct flavour characteristics come from our now-rare Yorkshire Square fermenting vessels. Malt character leads with sweet biscuit and caramel, complimenting fruity raisin and pear drop notes from our house yeast. Goldings hops finish off the fruitcake-like flavours with hints of earthy bitter orange. Complex, balanced and incredibly drinkable. Previously known as Special Ale.
