It's always a pleasure to welcome our pals from Beer Riff. This time the Welsh Wizard imparted some if his NZ hop knowledge to us, so we could whip up a cask NZ Pale. Expect a pin bright, smooth, pale delight. Loaded with Nectaron for peach upfront, with Wai-Iti bringing an earthy balance. Vegan friendly.

Earlier this year, and by pure coincidence, we and Left Handed Giant selected identical lots of Mosaic and Simcoe (Coleman Farm, Oregon) and Nectaron and Nelson Sauvin (Mac Hops, NZ). Our half of the story is a big, hoppy monster of a DIPA designed to showcase the vibrancy of these specific lots. Expect saturated hop aroma and a rounded mouthfeel. It's bright, zippy, juicy, and even a little wild around the edges. LHG have crafted their own interpretation: 'Hidden Volumes'. Collaboration with Left Handed Giant. Vegan friendly.

This is on the medium end of the dry cider spectrum and is distinctively (and variably) hazy rather than filtered to clarity. We feel that keeps it closer to the apple than commercially produced draught ciders. It’s a revival of the traditional style of cider we used to enjoy prior to the development of today’s national brands. It’s gently sparkling rather than gassy because we believe that makes it easier to drink and lets you taste the superb apple flavour.
