Inspired by Island Street's boat builders, we have hand crafted a rich, velvety porter. A blend of eight malts produces hints of dark chocolate, coffee and black cherry which combined with British hops, creates an aroma reminiscent of Black Forest gateaux.

Otter Ale is a very well balanced beer that delivers the flavours of quality floor malted barley and finishes with a combination of fruit and some bitterness. It's nose is a balance of malt and fruit.

Warming, malty and fruity. Pale and amber malts contribute to a mouth filling and satisfying 'Horlicks' and biscuity maltiness. Challenger and First Gold give a base note of herbal hop and Fuggle as a late hop contributes the main fragrant fruity and floral and spicy notes. Fermented slowly to give just enough fruity esters providing a complex, satisfying and warming experience.

Taking its name from the world famous Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem, which lays claim to being England's oldest inn, this is a rich, toffee-flavoured beer bursting with fruity character that is perfectly balanced with a clean, bitter finish.

This is quite simply a perfectly-executed session IPA. The aroma is hoppy, balanced between tropical and grapefruit notes, and at 4% it’s a truly sessionable beer.

A sweet, lively cider that blends traditional bitter sweet apples with a more contemporary Russet apple to make a light, refreshing and quaffable cider.

Rich aromas of honey and baked apple, ripe and buttery on the palate, with a moreish apple skin flavour, balanced with a crisp, natural acidity. Created with The Rugby Players Association to raise vital funds for The Exeter Chiefs Foundation and Wooden Spoon.

With its distinctive orange hues, this smooth, robust, naturally cloudy cider is a Somerset tradition. For those who like oak-aged cider medium dry, our cidermakers choose apples including Tremlett's Bitter for its tannins, while Dabinett brings a rich, full body.

Made with plenty of scrumpy soul. Not every cloudy cider has to be a challenge, Devon Mist is a gentle joy. Rich autumnal fruit with a perceptible sparkle and satisfying finish.

A still and cloudy, full-bodied medium cider bursting with character and bite.

We believe that the key to brewing a great strong beer is to make it well-balanced with a good use of hops making Otter Head easily drinkable. Whilst it has a distinctive barley wine, old ale character it remains light to drink with a malty, fruity and slightly sweet flavour with a long bittersweet aftertaste. The fruit and malt aroma sits well with the beer’s deep, luxurious red/brown colour. Hops: Challenger, Fuggles and Pilgrim.
