Our limited-edition copper ale boasts the distinctly smooth, full-body character, typical of the Three Tuns. With a mild, malty sweetness, Charter features hints of toasted nut and a subtle hoppy background - an undeniably spirited ale to capture the charm of Bishop’s Castle. Brewed in small batches to celebrate the granting of our town's charter 450 years ago.
A sea salt IPA. Golden and spicy, with a salty, smoky hint of the sea. This IPA is brewed with a touch of real sea salt and Vienna and Beechwood smoked malts for a full, sweet body and a slightly acrid tang like recently fired gunpowder. Cascade and Chinook hops provide a tropical fruit zest and gentle waves of pine aroma.
With a palate that is fresh, piercing and focused, complemented by soft malt overtones and pronounced citrus flavours. A strong focus of taut, lemony, grapefruit on the finish which is balanced by a dry bitterness. Hops: Mosaic, Citra and Ekuanot.
A seasonal amber ale with a pleasing, nutty, malty flavour, followed by a rich bitterness, floral hints and a spiced fruit undertone. Our third brew this year as part of The Orrery Project - a special collection to mark the British seasons.
A well-balanced, crisp and refreshing English Pale Ale, perfect for enjoying on a summer evening. The late addition of Columbus hops rounds off this easy-drinking ale with a delicious citrus note. Collaboration with Attic Brew.
The beer that made us famous, our Joseph Holt Bitter. Pours a deep amber with a creamy head encompassing full bitterness with a dry malt base.
A fantastic alcohol free version of our session IPA which encompasses the same great juicy and tropical flavours of the original. After some detailed recipe development, we’re very happy with the results. It pours a beautiful hazy gold, with the classic aromas of mango and pineapple leading to a soft and well-rounded mouthfeel. Alcohol free and vegan friendly.
A session strength IPA crafted with an abundance of Citra hops, delivering a super juicy, tropical fruit flavour. Expect intense notes of mango, guava, and lychee fruit, all interwoven to perfection. The result is a characteristic haziness, a full-bodied experience, and a pleasantly balanced, light bitterness finish that lingers gently on the palate. Vegan friendly.
A tribute to the classic American West Coast IPA, but brewed to a sessionable ABV. Golden in colour and fairly bitter, three American hop varieties (Citra, Amarillo and Eureka!) contribute aromas of candied citrus and pine, with grapefruit being dominant. Collaboration with Leviathan Brewing.
A pale, mellow and refreshing golden ale, brewed from English malted barley and American Centennial hops. Bitterness is low, but dry-hopping after fermentation results in citrus and tropical fruity aromas.
A deliciously dark and reassuringly robust porter. Roasted and chocolate malts come to fore with gentle warm orange notes from the Amarillo.
A crisp pale ale with a deep nice bitterness and zesty tropical notes.
With a smooth mouthfeel, gentle bitterness, and dry finish this rich tropical fruit laden IPA is fragrant with bold flavours of grapefruit, peach and zingy freshness.
Dark and delicious British stout. HBC472, Sorachi and Cascade hops give loads of roasted coffee, wood barrel and pine notes.
This American IPA is packed with Citra, Comet, and Simcoe hops, resulting in a phenomenal bouquet of tropical fruit with an underlying floral bite. We used a single malt – the iconic Maris Otter – to highlight its fantastic qualities. Collaboration with JW Lees.
A refreshing Citra hopped IPA with crisp, grapefruit, lemon notes and a slight citrus aroma.
Session pale ale with El Dorado and Alora (our first time using this hop) giving subtle traces of peach, melon and yuzu fruit.
A Mosaic Smash pale ale made with juicy, fruity Mosaic hops, delivering a fresh, delicious brew. Simple yet delicious.
An absolute cracking autumnal ale. It’s packed with pumpkin goodness, which brings its distinctive earthy sweetness. Along with the pumpkin, we add a combination of cloves, coriander, and ginger to create a layered depth of flavour from start to finish. Hops: Chinook.
