A blood orange IPA. Light Maris Otter and pale chocolate in the mash give the golden-orange colour. Orange peel in the whirlpool creates a subtle pithy bitterness. Idaho 7, Citra and Simcoe added at various stages during fermentation layer in tropical orange-citrus flavours. Bloody lovely!

Brewed wrong. Finished right. What started as a mistimed hop addition turned into something we couldn't have planned. We hit this hazy IPA with Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe — layers of tropical fruit, citrus zest and pine resin pushed back against the bitterness and won. Mostly. That edge is still there.
