This beautifully balanced American red ale showcases a ruby hue with a smooth, malty backbone. The Cara Red malt lends a touch of caramel sweetness and a rich, biscuity depth, while Columbus and Chinook hops bring in bold, earthy pine and subtle citrus notes. Expect a gentle bitterness that lingers, complementing the malty warmth. Just like its namesake Ruby, this ale is lively yet approachable, with a touch of spirited character from the hops and a comforting, familiar malt presence. Part of our brewery dog series.
This session IPA showcases a vibrant hop profile. On the nose, tropical fruit and citrus dominate, with mango, tangerine, and lime zest up front, balanced by a soft herbal and piney undertone. The palate follows through with juicy notes of stone fruit and melon from Cashmere, layered over grapefruit peel from Idaho 7. A smooth, light malt backbone provides just enough body without distracting from the hop character. Crisp, clean finish with a gentle bitterness that invites another sip. Perfectly sessionable.
An accomplished, copper hued and easy drinking traditional English ale seasoned with Progress, Goldings and First Gold hops, followed by a later addition of Styrian Goldings in the boil to enhance both flavour and aroma. Full bodied with good mouthfeel, it has a delicate, biscuity malt backdrop skilfully overlaid with spicy, slightly resinous hop notes that develop on the tongue and culminate in a satisfyingly dry and tasty finish.
Bright golden orange with a pungent punch and an expeditious use of the Citra hop. A bold but balanced beer.
Strong and well hopped for the voyage sending IPA from the Wolds to the World. Interestingly brewed with a pale Wold grown malt base, a triple hop blend and Maize for the head retention.
