A classic British-style cask IPA created using the very best ingredients we can get our hands on and then fermenting it in our new Union set. For our base malt, we have used Maris Otter from Norfolk, a touch of Simpsons' best Crystal malt to add a touch of colour and rounded sweetness and some of the special (and expensive) Brewers' Invert No.2 sugar from Ragus, which will add notes of caramel and toffee while helping to keep the beer’s body in check. The all-important hops are British-grown Goldings and Northdown, which give us some gentle berry flavours and rounded, cedar-like hop aromas to balance the maltiness.
Our clean tasting ale with low to moderate bitterness, fruity hop sweetness and a slight peppery finish. Great on a spring day, a yellow gold thirst quenching IPA.
A pale beer, made with fabulous Nelson Sauvin hops. Aromas of elderflower and grapes. Strong citrus flavours, especially grapefruit. Long lasting bitter finish. Very refreshing and packed full of flavour.
This robust smoked stout was brewed using beechwood smoked malt which makes up the entirety of the base malt, along with seven speciality roasted and crystal malts in addition to a blend of muscovado and demerara sugars. Expect dense smoke, dark roasted coffee, candied bacon, rum and molasses. Vegan friendly.
This golden sour is fermented with a strain of Brettanomyces isolated from a renowned Belgian Trappist brewery. The strain provides intense stone fruit, peach, apricot characteristics when used for primary fermentation. This fruit forward base beer was then re-fermented on 200g/l of Spanish white peaches. All ingredients (apart from the peaches) were harvested within 33 miles of the brewery.
Extremely refreshing ultra light lager. Designed to be crushable, quaffable and crisp. Perfect refreshment. ABV varies between 3.4% and 3.9%.
This is our session strength Nitro Porter that takes inspiration from our flagship beer, The Porter. Creamy, smooth and truly sessionable. What better way to create an effortlessly drinkable dark beer than to brew it with nitro. The resulting creaminess and smooth mouthfeel balance perfectly with the subtle roasted notes of coffee and chocolate.
A 1902 style British IPA.
Medium easy drinking cider made in small batches, using hand picked fruit with minimal intervention. Please note ABV may vary.
A sweet cider made with a blend of Somerset apples aged in rum barrels.
A medium Somerset scrumpy cider.
A blend of 2022 Harry Masters Jersey with 2023 Major and Browns. A floral bouquet aroma, of honeysuckle, grape blossom, and hay, lead into a gentle and balanced cider. There's some delicious upfront acidity from Browns apple that leads into the yellow tones of Harry Masters, with the Major a supporting role that adds body and depth to the drink. Notes of sauteed apple on the mid palate meld into good bitterness, with some light astringency to help keep the drink quaffable. A very easy drinking cider!
2022 Dabinett blended with 2023 Browns, Foxwhelp and Somerset Redstreak. This is a cider reminiscent of a summer storm, packed full of fruit flavour with grapes and orange squash smashing into your taste buds like a tidal wave. Very good astringency from heritage cider apples makes it full bodied with a lasting taste while there is just enough acidity from Browns and Foxwhelp to refresh and quench like rain after a heatwave.
A distinctively fresh bittersweet, still, cloudy cider. Appley aroma with peaty undertones, this medium dry cider is just challenging enough to be easy drinking. A real taste of the orchard for those ready to embrace proper cider.
A fine, juicy, full bodied, spicy and fruity dry cider that is a deep dive into the joys of fermented cider apples. Those apples in this case, two Somerset varieties - Yarlington Mill and the rarer Coates Jersey - wild fermented and then brought into ex wine barrels, matured for 18 months, to emerge as something really quite special.
Carefully blended from a range of traditional cider apples which provide a crisper taste. Sharp, crisp and to the point. Pours with a red hued gold with a very slight haze. This cider is full-bodied with a short-lived fizz from a light carbonation leading to a slightly sparkling drier cider with a rustic cider apple feel.
Whiskey barrel aged sweet cider.
A 100% whole juice cider from apples that are hand-picked, hand sorted, hand-pressed and fermented with yeast time and patience. A full bodied dry cider with complex and punchy apple aromas.
A cloudy, fruity and authentic perry. A labour of love, it evokes a true sense of our rural surroundings.
Indulgent, sweetly satisfying cider. Burnt umber in colour, dark, bittersweet, warming Libertine is a rich, tannic cider with unusual depth. Satisfying, exotic and grown up (but a bit on the fringes)....wild, radical, brooding and delicious.
This is a classic golden cloudy cider with typical cider apple bitterness and fruit aromas. Dry on the palate, its complex flavours deliver a strong finish.
