A pale ale brewed with Chinook from the Pacific Northwest of the USA. The beer is dry, with an early, light bitterness. Followed with the pine and spice from the Chinook and some fruit and low level citrus.

Indulgent, sweetly satisfying cider. Burnt umber in colour, dark, bittersweet, warming Libertine is a rich, tannic cider with unusual depth. Satisfying, exotic and grown up (but a bit on the fringes)....wild, radical, brooding and delicious.

Awaiting tasting notes from brewery.
Made from a blend of old fashion varieties of pears, harvested from the few remaining pear orchards of rural Herefordshire. In late Autumn they are milled and pressed to extract their golden juice, which is then laid down over the winter months in 100 gallon oak vats. In the following Spring the perry maker taps and samples each vat and then, only when judged to be ready, does he rack it off into bottles or barrels.
A medium cider with rich apple flavour and pronounced satisfying strength.
This is on the medium end of the dry cider spectrum and is distinctively (and variably) hazy rather than filtered to clarity. We feel that keeps it closer to the apple than commercially produced draught ciders. It’s a revival of the traditional style of cider we used to enjoy prior to the development of today’s national brands. It’s gently sparkling rather than gassy because we believe that makes it easier to drink and lets you taste the superb apple flavour.
Made from all English apples, pressed locally and conditioned in oak vats, producing a wonderful medium dry, strong, golden cider of superb quality. Golden straw in the glass, our cider is fresh and fruity with a robust apple taste and a slight bite to finish.
Our limited-edition copper ale boasts the distinctly smooth, full-body character, typical of the Three Tuns. With a mild, malty sweetness, Charter features hints of toasted nut and a subtle hoppy background - an undeniably spirited ale to capture the charm of Bishop’s Castle. The beer that changed everything. The first brew we perfected, the beer that made our name with its distinctive bitter, clean and refreshingly dry flavour. Made with only the best Maris Otter malt blended with a variety of English hops (a secret that we can never share), Butcombe Original is the classic session beer.
This golden ale is brewed with the best quality floor malted Maris Otter malting barley, with the addition of some CaraGold, malted wheat and oats to give the beer good body and shine. The hops used are all from one farmer in Herefordshire. We use First Gold and a new variety hop called CF185, both short trellis hops grown by James Hawkins in Dormington. This beer was initially brewed for the crew of HMS Ledbury, the oldest active ship in the Royal Navy.

The Norman cider apple, as the name suggests, was imported from Normandy in France. The apple is popular with traditional cider makers because the juice ferments quickly, producing a pleasant medium cider.
