A dark copper premium bitter, full-bodied and packed full of hops giving interest and complexity. Challenger and Target provide underlying herbal hop and the rare Bramling Cross giving redcurrant and blackcurrant into the mix. Fabulous malty character from the pale malt and toffee from the crystal malt give warmth and the blend of hops provides a crisp bitterness. Hops: Challenger, Target, First Gold, Goldings and Bramling Cross.
This vibrant ruby red ale starts with a grain bill similar to our IPA, but the addition of Red Rye Crystal along with subtle hints of Ginger and Orange help to create a beer with a seasonal twist that remains quite sessionable. The various ingredients mingle to give a nose that evokes gingerbread, whilst the First Gold bittering hops provide just the right balance against the malty sweetness on the palate.
Six different malts, including melanoidinmalz and three types of rye give this beer it's red colour and earthy, toasty taste. Topped off nicely with a subtle addition of US and European hops.
Hard to categorise as a stout or old ale. Sweetish roast malt taste leads to a long lasting roasted, slightly bitter finish. Rich fruity nose balanced by flavours of chocolate, dried fruit and figs.
