A well balanced golden ale made from light crystal malt, Scottish grown and malted barley and a little wheat malt. It has a moderate bitterness with a complex herbal, citrussy, resinous and slightly spicy dry hop aroma.
Hard to categorise as a stout or old ale. Sweetish roast malt taste leads to a long lasting roasted, slightly bitter finish. Rich fruity nose balanced by flavours of chocolate, dried fruit and figs.
A traditional dark amber Scottish Ale. Brewed using locally sourced water, Scottish, sown, grown and malted barley, light crystal malt and wheat malt.The moderate bitterness comes from a mixture of Target, Goldings hops. It has a malty/sweet aroma and a slightly drying finish derived from the roast barley.
