Jet black, with a creamy tan-coloured head, Howl is an imperial stout that’s been conditioned on whiskey barrel oak, vanilla pods, cacao nibs and raspberries. Crystal, Brown and Chocolate malts make up a third of the grist, providing a bittersweet backbone to the beer, with England’s Bramling Cross & New Zealand’s Pacific Gem providing a subtle, fruity hop character.
