Very black and very tasty with the traditional smooth porter palate of treacle liquorice toffee chocolate and toast.
Unique fruity full bodied beer, with a burst of citrus and summer fruit aromas, creating a refreshing ale with a sharp dry aftertaste.
This beer is dark strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Goldings hops and natural plum flavouring. Take the opportunity and go for the low hanging fruit, this sumptuous beer really is a plum!
Our award-winning flagship beer! Unicorn was born in 1896 and was originally called Robinsons Best Bitter. Unusually light, agile, yet complex, Unicorn hasn't changed in over a hundred years. Dripping with heritage, it's a magnificent, thirst-quenching, thoroughbred bitter. The first of a bloodline that continues to this day.
Known at the brewery as Peggy, this Dizzy Blonde is great fun, great company, and often the centre of attention. Inspired by our colonial friends across the pond, Dizzy is sassy, fresh, and a firm family favourite. She's a zesty, vibrant ale with wild, aromatic, invigorating Amarillo hops...and a crisp, dry finish.
This pale ale combines a carefully selected blend of zesty and herbal hops to create the perfect tipple to celebrate the changing of the seasons.
An IPA giving citrus, floral and hoppy flavours and aromas thanks to the Citra and Centennial hops. Bold yet refreshing with hints of malty caramel. There's a zingy mouthfeel, a light body and a lingering bitterness.
Helles is a traditional German pale lager bier. We begin with a specially selected premium lager yeast and a variety of classic Noble European hops and throw in some Perle for a little bittering, then the Tettnang and Hersbrucker hops to add character. During fermentation, we add some Saaz for an earthy and floral hint and finally the Mandarina Bavaria hop to give an extra subtle hint of lemon complexity to the taste and aroma. Sweetness balanced with a light bitterness, delicately hopped, clear and light, it’s the epitome of a thirst-quenching lager bier. Expertly crafted, effortlessly smooth.
A delicate, unfiltered lager, carefully crafted to honour the traditional methods of the past with a modern twist. By not filtering the beer, we allow the fresh flavours of malt, Weihenstephan yeast and four German hop varieties to burst through for a naturally flavourful, taste and delivers a clean and sweeter taste than traditional Pilsners whilst retaining a short bitterness. Vegan friendly.
A light and zingy go to IPA. Extra pale base malts are used to keep it crisp and give the hops a great platform to dance on. Masses of hop additions during the whirlpool and a huge dose of dry hops make this a brilliantly 'easy' IPA. Hops: Columbus, Centennial, Simcoe, Amarillo, Galaxy, Vic Secret and Mosaic. Vegan friendly.
A refreshing medium-dry sparkling cider that is bursting with the delicious flavour of crisp cider apples.
A traditional copper coloured malt ale using the finest English hops to produce both a floral and smooth aroma but still having a sharp finish.
A rich smooth stout, a roasty dark ale with mature blackcurrent in the aroma and a fruity hoppy bitterness in the taste, quickly giving way to a long sweetish aftertaste.
Light copper in colour, all English, heavily hopped IPA resulting in a thirst quenching beer with a pleasant hop aroma and balanced finish. Hops: Fuggles, Challenger and Pilgrim.
Our flagship golden ale that truly represents the core values of our brewery. Perfectly balanced, full bodied flavours and fruity aromas combine to complete this truly artisan craft ale. Brewed with only the finest local Goldings and Fuggles hops from Brook House Farm in Bromyard, Ludlow Gold is everything that a good, honest pint should be.
A rich and creamy traditional style porter with a touch of sweetness from honey.
A dark ale with a ruby red colour, the aroma has a sweet scent of strawberries combined with a smokiness and a soft, rich taste.
Our easy drinking session beer brewed with German lager hops and locally grown East Anglian malt. Golden Best has a light floral aroma, clean and crisp and a slightly crisp finish.
A reddish brown traditional Thames Valley bitter. Excellent woody flavours are notable in this strikingly malty beer with a finish of port and berries on the nose.
An award winning, wholesome, full bodied porter. Intense roasted flavours give way to a wonderful hop flavoured finish.
Our rendition of the classic, traditional session ale. A generous addition of lightly toasted German malts give this auburn ale its oaky complexion and compelling profile. Having been crafted with only the finest English Maris Otter malt and a scrupulous blend of Goldings and Cascade hops, Best is bursting with flavour from every angle.
