Modern red ale brewed with English and German malts and a selection of American and Australian hops.
The concept was to create a juicy tropical beer. A brew you can sit on and drink all day, rammed with juicy malts and huge tropical aromas of mango and grapefruit. Massive additions of American hops are added to the whirlpool giving huge hop flavour. The beer is then dry hopped for days, driving the punchy aromas so you can smell it from miles away!
British pale and wheat malts loaded with powerful Citra hops and brewed to 5.6 %, then massively dry hopped again with Citra to give huge punch and aroma, a definite plus one.
A striking trio of English hops lend tones of honey and pine along with subtle hints of tropical fruits. You'll be sure to get a kick out of this rich, ruby ale!
We drew on JW Lees' 191 years of brewing experience to create a traditional dark mild with a twist. Combines flavours of caramel and hazelnut with a satisfying dash of maple syrup sweetness. Right in time for CAMRA's Mild Month throughout May!
Our most popular and famous beer. JW Lees Bitter is an all-malt brew and sets the standard for Northern ales. One of the CAMRA guidebooks described it as an amber beer with malty and citrus fruit aftertaste. They approved and we hope you do too.
A collaboration between Three Hills and The Needle and Pin in Loughborough. A strong dark beer with a fruity aroma, full of roasted flavours up front, leading to rich dark sugar and balanced rhubarb finish.
