Horny Goat Ale is a golden malty ale brewed with United Kingdom and New Zealand hops. We've used a hint of Horny Goat Weed in this brew, a herb used for thousands of years in traditional Chinese medicine. Southern Cross is used at the end of the brewing boil which provides the pine and citrus notes for this balanced ale.

The perfectly-paired combination of wheat malt and lager malt is our secret sauce for this 'Champagne of Lagers', providing an elegant head, luscious lacing and crisp palate. A lingering, fresh grapefruity finish from whole, pressed hop cones tops it off.

This recipe uses Sam Luntley's sourdough starter and Scotland The Bread's Balcaskie wheat, the predominant grain used by Sam in his sourdough bread. The wild sourdough ferment is full of fruity esters: a fascinating and unique culture which soured the wort brilliantly. The beer was then co-fermented with several farmhouse yeast strains and subtly dry-hopped with Olicana, a British hop with peachy aromas and tropical fruit characteristics. The beer was then conditioned long and slow for a full expression, perfect for summer sipping. The result is a tart, but not too sour, modern Scottish Berliner Weisse with stone fruit aromas that lean into a citrus palate of lilting fruitiness, and leads to a dry refreshing finish. The smoothest of hazy pale ales. Brewed with premium Clear Choice malt, UK Cascade, Pilgrim and Ernest hops. Citrus and tropical fruit notes with pear, berries, apricot and spicy flavours popping up too. Medium bitterness with a hedgerow edge. Vegan friendly.
Hazy pale ale with wheat heavy base dosed with a touch of rye malt to bring a subtle spicy finish. Nelson was then added in the whirlpool creating a balanced, pale, smooth base beer. Cold side it's the killer combo of Citra/Simcoe dropping tropical fruit with a subtle pine and grapefruit edge. We also fermented this one with a new yeast strain which added more fruity aromas of passion fruit and mango. Vegan friendly.
Our Lerwick IPA takes a traditional style of beer brewed with modern techniques to produce a flavour sensation. On the nose there is immediately the fruity American Cascade hops followed by malty caramel sweetness. These complex notes follow through to the palate where the beautiful balance of this India Pale Ale really shines, finishing with citrus bitterness.
