William Quartermaine was one of the original owners of the Wimbledon Brewery . Quartermaine is a great example of an English style IPA, using the very best raw materials which are given free rein to express themselves. The fruity, spicy, floral hop aromas lead to a full, rich, almost light fruit cake middle palate, ending with a clean dry bitter finish.
A limited edition pale ale made with a blend of Harlequin hops from the UK and Elani hops from the US. A crisp refreshing beer with a lemony citrus finish. Gluten free.
Very dark ruby red tinted beer with powerful chocolate malt aromas and a hint of vanilla.
A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.
Warming, malty and fruity. Pale and amber malts contribute to a mouth filling and satisfying 'Horlicks' and biscuity maltiness. Challenger and First Gold give a base note of herbal hop and Fuggle as a late hop contributes the main fragrant fruity and floral and spicy notes. Fermented slowly to give just enough fruity esters providing a complex, satisfying and warming experience.
A traditional North-Eastern brown ale. The full, welcoming aroma leads to a good balance of ripe grain and spicy hops in the flavour, resulting in a long, bittersweet finish.
A best bitter brewed with the rare Bramling Cross hop for soft fruit aroma and taste. The satisfying bitterness is balanced by sweet toffee/caramel from the crystal malt. Hops: Goldings, Pilgrim, Bramling Cross and Target.
This Trans-Atlantic fusion IPA is light golden in colour with tropical fruits and light caramel on the nose. The palate soon becomes assertive and resinous with the New Zealand hops balanced by the biscuit malt. The finish is aggressive and dry with the hops emerging over the warming alcohol.
Deliciously sweet and tangy, bursting with cherry fruit and a hint of Bakewell - A luscious blend of fresh apple cider with the juice of cherries. Previously called Wilde Cherry.
A fine, naturally cloudy cider, Orchard Dew is medium in sweetness, with a crisp refreshing taste.
A full bodied, clean tasting ale with hints of marmalade on the palate.
A premium best bitter. Perfected over six generations of master brewers, this ale is a nod to a classic Ridley's recipe. A festival of English flavours featuring spice, nuttiness and caramel, nicely balanced with a mellow hoppiness. Pours dark amber with a deliciously dense creamy head and a warming malt aroma. Devote your senses to this worthy brew.
A pale beer with a distinctively hoppy aroma. Despite its strength, this is a surprisingly smooth and easy drinking beer that has been brewed with pale malt and Fuggles and Goldings hops. Soft citrus fruits and zest in the flavour lead to a dry fruit finish.
