Still brewed to an original recipe using only the finest ingredients and the experience of generations. It is brewed with two strains of yeast to produce a complex nutty, malty taste with subtle hop undertones, which has widespread appeal to repertoire drinkers.
Brewed with Munich and Carafa malt from Bravaria. This seasonal brew is ruby in colour with sweet caramel, honey, toffee malt flavours. A blend of USA and Slovenian hops impart a berry fruit aroma.
Silky smooth, rich and satisfying. Distinct roasted barley creates a smoky, dark roast coffee aroma with hints of treacle, liquorice and nutty notes. Full without being heavy, the velvety body develops into deep, characterful flavours of dark chocolate and malt, fully complimented by a striking balance of bitterness and sweetness with a fine, dry finish. A refreshing and distinguished session stout.
A crisp, smooth, pale ale, packed with juicy American hops. A big IPA with big New World flavours.
A premium bitter with pale chocolate and caramalt in the mash giving the dark amber colour. Dark muscovado in the boil adds to the complexity of the malt bill. Bramling Cross in the whirlpool works with the darker malts to add hints of berry fruit with hints of chocolate. Previously known as Old Higby.
Dry hopped pale ale brewed with Citra and Mosaic hops and a base of Chevallier heritage malt for a fruity, smooth taste. Gluten removed - low gluten. Vegan friendly.
The beer that made us famous, our Joseph Holt Bitter. Pours a deep amber with a creamy head encompassing full bitterness with a dry malt base.
American pale ale with Maris Otter and Caramalt in the mash giving a deep golden colour. Centennial and Northern Brewer at the end of the boil adds hop forward depth with a low bitterness. Mosaic in the whirlpool and dry-hop adds tropical fruit flavours.
A traditional English best bitter. Crystal and chocolate malts in the mash impart nutty, caramel, and chocolate flavours. Magnum hops in the boil add a clean, soft bitterness that is balanced by the sweetness of dark muscovado sugar. Sovereign hops in the whirlpool contribute subtle orchard fruit and floral notes, creating a well-rounded bittersweet finish.
