Helles is a classic German-style pale lager, popularised in Bavaria. It is a style that is subtle, delicate and designed to showcase malt flavours, with a crisp finish and very little hop bitterness. A long lagering period is used to achieve a beer that is bright, clean and refreshing.
We love Civil Society and wanted to go all out with this post-LCBF collaboration so we brewed a sour double IPA with Amarillo, Mosaic, Ekuanot, Citra, Sincoe and Wolf hops. Huge dry hop and delicate sourness make Cradle of Culture dangerously drinkable!
Our flagship stout aged in Orkney Whisky casks.
A prototype brew that will push your citrus tolerance to the brink and back; Elvis Juice is crammed with tart pithy grapefruit and orange. A different take on our flagship style, this IPA has toasty malt nudging zesty orange alongside bitter and sour grapefruit.
Pale ale featuring Chinook and Waimea hops.
Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Torrside Brewing in Derbyshire, our hoppy Red Ale has been infused with a heady mix of specialty malts, including a proportion of Rum Barrel smoked malt and beech smoked malt which combine to make a beautifully balanced, delicious autumn beer. One of our favourites this year for sure!
An elegant strong Salopian version of an IPA, citrus, pines and tropical fruit engulf the palate and caress the senses. A dry body with an extremely long lingering finish.
This is a dry-hopped Pilsner made with classic German Saphir hops, giving vibrant citrus and stone-fruit notes. Built from Bavarian yeast, it has a crisp clean taste. This is lager like it was, like it should be, like it will be. Lager is back!
This wonderfully refreshing pale session beer showcases the marvellous Mosaic hops from America. Bursting with tropical fruit flavours and a pleasant citrus bitterness. Just in case there wasn’t enough in the initial brew, we have dry hopped with even more Mosaic for good measure!
Double IPA hopped with Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe and Chinook. A juicy tropical fruit hop bomb collaboration with Northern Monk Brew Co.
This Trans-Atlantic fusion IPA is light golden in colour with tropical fruits and light caramel on the nose. The palate soon becomes assertive and resinous with the New Zealand hops balanced by the biscuit malt. The finish is aggressive and dry with the hops emerging over the warming alcohol.
