We wanted to create a light, crisp, punchy, go to beer! A beer that you know you can pick up and appreciate or simply get it down ya neck. This rich dark unctuous stout is named after the old galvanising plant at the nearby Corby Steelworks where many people from Weldon used to work. It was fondly known locally as the Galvy - and it is in recognition of that, that our stout was born. It contains an array of deep dark malts and presents a complex and irresistible mix of liquorice, coffee, smokey and herbal flavours that demands your attention.
