This strong golden ale is brewed with Bavarian lager malt which produces a beer with a crisp, dry flavour combined with bags of bite.
This is a deep red, nutty bitter based on the old NBC recipe, passed on to us by Pat Heron who started at NBC in 1954. Pat's father was Head Brewer at NBC's Phoenix Brewery on Bridge Street before him. Red Star is a true working man's pint made with the traditional Mild Ale malt variety that was a staple of NBC bitters and milds in the 1950s.
A bright summery hop bomb blonde ale where wave upon wave of bright vivid hops encircle the palate with gooseberry and herb aromas cascading over a brisk zesty summit, to a satisfying bitter finish.
Another fresh development marrying elements of Phipps historic recipes with iconoclastic new styles. The dark malt signature is robust but smooth whilst the fruity but subtle hop flavours give the beer an easy drinkability.
Brewed using traditional methods and grain, this beer is pale golden, with all the flavour associated with New World Hops giving an almost dry APA flavour. This is a re-badge of Piggin' Saint.
Our goal was to create an easy-going, everyday beer - the kind that hits the spot at the end of a long day at work, or to see you right through a long day of leisure. Brewed to a sensible 4.6% with just a touch of juicy haze, Crush Hour is crisp, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. It’s an unobtrusive accomplice to good times: constantly crushable, hour after hour.
The original Hawkstone Lager. Bold, yet balanced, with a smooth body and top notes of light citrus complemented by a subtle, crisp bitterness and malty backbone. Setting the standard for a British Premium Lager.

Medium dry cloudy cider with a full-bodied fruity character.
Medium dry cloudy cider, mellow and rounded with the flavour of slowly matured bittersweet cider apples. Apples from a single years harvest, slowly matured and spends time in our oak aged vats.
Using the fresh pressed juice from apples picked locally, our master cider makers ferment with champagne yeast and mature the cider for up to 6 months, before cold-filtering to create a 5% medium dry cider that’s full of flavour and character. Never from concentrate, never pasteurised.
This gorgeous coloured cider is one of the most popular and different sweet ciders you can get - medium tangy rhubarb blended with a gentle vanilla sweetness. Like a liquid version of rhubarb crumble and ice cream.
A subtly balanced, golden bitter, hoppy to the nose, malty on the palate - the classic session beer, eminently drinkable.
A blend of two of our award winning beers Beijing Black and Crazy Daze.
This bronze, seasonal IPA-style beer has a sweet aroma, with marmalade and fruit notes, leading to a fruity mouthfeel, with hints of orange and a full, rich, bittersweet flavour. Hops: Admiral, Fuggles and Goldings.
