A tribute to the hallowed Scottish 80/- beer style. Unsurprisingly, it’s the malts that take centre stage with layers and layers of complexity. Toasty, sticky dried fruit and luscious caramel are all intertwined with just a gentle hop resin coming through in the background. Vegan friendly.

A full-bodied mild ale with a ruby hue and pleasing depth of flavour. Maris Otter and darkest crystal malts provide the colour and rich, sweeter flavours - toffee, dried fruits, plum - which are kept in balance by toasty, bready notes from the classic German Munich malts; the result is a richness of flavour without cloying sweetness. Mandarina Bavaria hops contribute aromas of orange peel with a gentle herbal character, while fermentation with Windsor ale yeast imparts a full body and subtle aromas of red apple. Vegan friendly.

Historic 80/- based on a 1930s Edinburgh recipe. The rich character derives from heirloom Maris Otter barley malt and the wort is given a longer boil than modern shilling beers. Combined with a high finishing gravity, this imparts a rich depth of flavour while a generous hop bill balances the sweetness, as was common in shillings of this era. Collaboration with the Cat Asylum Brewery. Vegan friendly.

An extra pale, unfiltered hoppy session ale with a bold tropical and white wine notes from the Nelson grown New Zealand hops. A luscious mouth feel, from the wheat and oats, carries the hop flavour across the palate before easing out with a dry (rather than bitter) moreish finish.
